Discover the Unique Features of the Citi Rewards+® Card

The Citi Rewards+® Card offers a unique feature known as the round-up feature, which sets it apart from other cards in the market. This feature automatically rounds up the number of points you earn for each purchase to the next highest multiple of 10.

While this is an intriguing benefit that can result in bonus points, it’s important to determine if it makes the card worthwhile or if it’s just a gimmick. The frequency of card usage and your intentions for using the points will determine the card’s value to you.

In this article, we will provide all the necessary information about the Citi Rewards+® Card to help you make an informed decision.

How Does the Citi Rewards+® Card Work?

The Citi Rewards+® Card offers various reward rates:

  • Earn two ThankYou Points for every $1 spent on the first $6,000 in annual spending at supermarkets and gas stations.
  • Earn one ThankYou Point for every $1 spent on all other qualified purchases.
  • Get one ThankYou Point for the first 12 months after activating your account, and five ThankYou Points for the first $6,000 spent at restaurants for a limited time.

To welcome new cardholders, the Citi Rewards+® Card also offers 20,000 bonus points after $1,500 in purchases are made within three months of opening the account. These points can be redeemed for $200 worth of gift cards at thankyou.com.

How Can You Redeem Points Earned with the Citi Rewards+® Card?

  • Shop With Points: You can make direct purchases at select businesses using your points through the Shop With Points program. While the value of each point is less than one cent, you will receive a bill credit for using your points at specific online retailers.
